Ms Autumn Ng holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Language Linguistics (NUS), a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics (NIE), a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA), and the Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (IAL).
Her specialties include: enhancing grammatical competency in professional writing, effective professional writing skills, effective presentation and communication skills, and critical thinking skills. Her training philosophy emphasizes creating engaging and effective workshops for all participants, ensuring that they achieve their learning objectives in a collaborative, nurturing and happy environment.
Her interest in training sparked in April 2017 when she commenced teaching Workplace Communication programmes with the London School of Business and Finance in Singapore. Here, she designed assessment materials and delivered functional English skills to adult learners, with positive feedback driving her passion further. Collaborating with Globibo in 2018, she provided customized corporate training, notably with Pepperl+Fuchs, where employees gained valuable skills and felt empowered in their job roles post-training. Her training philosophy emphasizes engaging and effective workshops for all participants.
Presently, Autumn serves as a part-time lecturer at three esteemed institutions: the Language and Communication Centre in the Nanyang Technological Education, the Centre for English Language Communication at the National University of Singapore, and the University at Buffalo in the Singapore Institute of Management. Here, she imparts critical thinking, communication skills, and writing competencies to students across various disciplines, consistently achieving outstanding student evaluation ratings ranging from 94% to 99%.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Autumn enjoys exploring global destinations, indulging in literary pursuits, and rejuvenating with leisurely walks amidst nature.

Managers, supervisors, executives or anyone who desires to master effective proofreading and editing skills, and keep up with the current digital landscape by learning to use ChatGPT to enhance written workplace communication.
Minimum Entry Requirements
– No prior experience or knowledge required
– Secondary school level onwards
– Be able to speak, listen, read and write English at a proficiency level not lower than the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification (ES WSQ) Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 4
Prerequisites
Participants are strongly recommended to bring their laptops for this course to facilitate a smoother experience with the generative AI tool. Alternatively, a tablet can be used.
Methodology
Participants are given hands-on practice to master the skills of proofreading and editing. Short teaching lectures are combined with group discussions and individual practice. A hands-on workshop style will be utilised to guide participants with no prior experience to get started with using ChatGPT for proofreading and editing.
Certification Obtained
Certificate of Attendance will be issued upon at least 75% attendance.
