(WSQ) Leading Work and Process Improvement for Team Productivity

This is a beginner-to-intermediate level course, designed for aspiring leaders, new managers, and experienced managers who seek to build practical competencies in process improvement and team performance.

The course focuses on aligning work with organisational and customer requirements, applying process improvement tools, and fostering effective teamwork. By mastering techniques such as process mapping, the RACI Matrix, and the ECRS method, learners can identify waste, implement changes, and document outcomes effectively.

At the end of the programme, participants will be able to:

• Understand your role as a manager in driving team productivity and aligning work outcomes with organisational goals and customer expectations.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by demonstrating leadership behaviours, accountability, and a growth mindset.
• Apply key productivity concepts, such as value-adding versus non-value-adding work and the principles of Quality, Cost, Delivery and Safety (QCDS).
• Use process improvement tools such as the TIMWOOD framework, ECRS method and RACI Matrix.
• Manage operational challenges and resistance during process improvement implementation.

• Absentee Payroll: You can now easily apply for absentee payroll through the Enterprise Job Skills (EPJS) Portal. Sponsoring employers of Singapore Citizens aged 30 and above, earning $2,500 or less per month, are eligible for AP at up to 95% of trainee’s basic hourly salary, capped at $13 per hour. Edwin is enthusiastic to share with his learners his firsthand practical knowledge and experiences that augment academic theories.
