Kris Loy

Ms Kris Loy is a seasoned professional with over 24 years of expertise in HR development, business advisory and consultancy, and adult education. Her multifaceted roles include serving as facilitator, courseware developer, and consultant across training providers. Her recent engagements include contributing to a focal agency in Singapore as an associate assessor, facilitator, and consultant, focusing on inclusive employability. Additionally, she holds an adjunct lecturer position for a Master’s programme at a local university. Kris’ leadership extends further as she assumes the Chair position at Institute for Adult Learning (IAL)’s Adult Education Network (AEN) Special Interest Group, emphasising the importance of critical core skills in the Adult Education and Human Resource Development community.

Kris has extensive experience across various sectors, including education, retail, hospitality, and transport, with a particular focus on supporting the retail sector’s people development through tailored training programmes. Over the past 8 years, she has contributed to more than 40 projects, including business process reengineering, enhancing organisational efficiency and driving transformation.

Certified in ACTA, ACLP, and DACE, Kris also develops WSQ courseware for sectors such as interaction skills and human resources. She holds various qualifications including a Master of Arts in Lifelong Learning and certifications as an IHRP Senior Professional, Certified Career Practitioner, and Singapore Certified Management Consultant. Kris is committed to professional development, serving as a Workplace Learning Specialist, Specialist Adult Educator, AE Mentor, and Career Advisor. Her past roles as a SkillsFuture Mentor and Business Advisor demonstrate her significant impact on SMEs, making her a dynamic leader in HR development, adult education, and consultancy.
