Goh Wee Lee

Professional Experience

Ms Wee Lee provides SMEs with Human Resource (HR) consultancy services to leverage on their HR capabilities to propel company objectives. She has helped several companies successfully implement HR solutions with government funding such as ICV (Innovation & Capability Voucher) and Enterprise Development Grant (EDG). With her passion to make a difference in the workplace and as a Work-Life Grant Consultant & Trainer, Wee Lee also provided work-life consultancy to assist companies in implementing good work-life practices.

Apart from HR and work-life consultancies, Wee Lee also specialises in Job Competency Profiling, Recruitment Selection and Performance Management. She was the Lead Consultant for the competency profiling of more than 25 job families at a local government agency and facilitated the development of competency frameworks for a number of other corporations. In the area of Performance Management and Target Setting, she had facilitated workshops across multiple levels from executives to directors to cascade organisational performance goals.

Before her consulting work, Wee Lee was Vice-President Training at DBS Bank responsible for strategic planning, executive and talent development, e-learning, training management and infrastructure. She had also project led a bank-wide competency project for the Bank.

Prior to that, she had a 10-yr stint in academia, teaching at both undergraduate and master levels at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), School of Accountancy & Business and also conducted seminars for local bank and seminars in mandarin for senior bankers from large Chinese banks.

Before joining academia, she was Consumer Services Manager, DBS Bank and had experience in various aspects of Consumer Banking, including electronic banking services, credit work, branch banking operations, staff operations and development, system development and product development. She also had prior experience in licensing of banks, country studies and research with the Monetary Authority of Singapore.


Areas of Expertise

Wee Lee’s experience in both the financial and academic arena brings to bear a greater degree of relevance and robustness in her service delivery, in the capacities of both Consultant and Trainer. Her strengths are in the areas of Competency Profiling & Development, HR management, Work-Life Integration Strategy and Implementation, as well as delivery of training courses in Competency-based Selection Interview and Performance Management & Development. Other expertise includes conducting Finance for Non-Finance Personnel and personal work-life effectiveness courses. She is also a certified Practising Management Consultant and Certified Productivity Consultant.

Education

Wee Lee graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) from the University of Singapore. She has a MSc in Management (Sloan Fellows Program) from the Sloan School of Management, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Master in Training & Development from Griffith University, an Advanced Certificate in Training & Assessment and Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education from Workforce Development Agency. She completed the Certified Productivity Consultant Programme, jointly conducted by Singapore Productivity Centre and Japan Productivity Centre. She has also completed A*STAR SIMTech’s Strategic Technology & Operation Roadmapping program.
