Mr Derek Tan possesses over 30 years of extensive experience in human resources, having made significant contributions to notable governmental bodies in Singapore, including the Singapore Tourism Board, Central Provident Fund Board, Civil Service College, Ministry of the Environment and Water
Resources, Ministry of Education, and the Public Service Division. His leadership position as Vice President of Resort World Sentosa exemplified his comprehensive expertise within the industry. 

Derek specializes in designing and implementing total rewards systems, performance management frameworks, and competency development initiatives, all of which are crucial for effective job redesign. He is harnessing the potential of generative and agentic AI to inspire and empower individual learners, guiding them to elevate their productivity and achieve their personal and professional goals. 

His international consultancy work has successfully influenced governments in Zanzibar, Bhutan, Malawi, Zambia, and Uganda, highlighting his ability to implement best HR practices across diverse contexts.
