Celine Tan
Ms Celine Tan is a highly accomplished professional with diverse experience with a solid background in senior accounting positions within the shipping and healthcare industries, as well as in the delivery of training programmes in finance and accounting-related subjects. She possesses well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to stimulate and encourage learning.
Celine is a Fellow of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants UK (ACCA) and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore. She has also obtained the Advanced Certificate for Training and Assessment (ACTA) from Institute for Adult Learning, as well as a MBA (with distinction) from University of Strathclyde.
She has worked in several senior positions in public listed companies and MNC in the field of financial and management accounting for over 20 years, spanning across the industries of auditing, transportation, healthcare, shipping and trading. Her prior experiences include Assistant General Manager – Finance for Maersk Line, Assistant Director of Corporate Finance for Thomson Medical Centre, Finance Controller – Accounting (Asia) for AET Tankers, and Financial Controller for Parkway Hospitals. Currently, she is working as a General Manager of Accounting and Finance for a shipping company.
Her core competencies include financial accounting, management reporting, budgeting, financial analysis, project evaluation, and process and system improvement.
Celine’s working experience coupled with her training experience has further enhanced her skill in delivering relevant knowledge and solutions to participants. She is committed to make learning relevant and easy for participants to understand.
