Industry trends, such as automation, changing consumer expectations and digitalisation are transforming the way manufacturers operate. As more manufacturers adopt new technology and digitalisation tools to improve productivity at the shopfloor, it is important for them to be competent in carrying out process and job redesign to better help their workforce manage the job transitions and keep pace with the new skillsets required from such business transformation. This helps to ensure long-term competitiveness and sustainable productivity gains.
This masterclass targets company representatives taking on the roles related to Human Resource (HR) and Production, e.g., production managers, QA/QC managers, engineering managers and HR managers. Participants will learn to reimagine how jobs will evolve and how it can be redesigned in a structured approach, which is critical to the interdependence of the four facets of organisational strategy (structure, processes, technology and people) and productivity of the organisation.
