HR Analytics: Making Sense of HR Data
As HR professionals, you deal with massive amount of data as part of your work. Leading companies such as Google, Xerox and Wal-Mart have adopted data-driven approach to its people management practices. For instance, Google developed an algorithm to predict candidates with a high probability of success which not only cut down the hiring time but also improve its success rate.
Being able to use analytics to make sense of the data will help differentiate you and the ability to think strategically about people metrics will help you provide senior leaders with data driven insights to support decision making and evaluate the impact of HR investments.

- understand data analytics and the possible applications in everyday lives
- acquire the basic skills and knowledge to apply data analytics to HR context
