Mrs Christine Leow is a trainer, writer, and television producer.
She is a passionate and dynamic trainer who specialises in anything to do with the word – written or spoken. She specialises in oral and written communication, public presentation, interview skills, and managing the media. Some of her clients include National Junior College, Hwa Chong Institute, Singapore of the Arts Singapore (SOTA), Republic of Singapore Navy, Land Transport Authority, National Environment Agency, Ministry of Education, and Maritime Port Authority.
Christine comes with nearly two decades of experience in the media industry. She has voiced, presented, and studio directed programmes in addition to researching, scripting, filming and editing. The programmes she has been involved in range from documentaries to current affairs shows, info-educational programmes, live studio discussions, and reality-based dramatisations such as. Talking Point, Extraordinary People, The Things People Do, Mind Your Body, A Stroke Of Genius, Perspectives, Viewpoint, In Conversation, Crimewatch, National School Games 2012 and 2014, Don’t Trash That, The Centennials, and The Centennials Asia as well as a slew of programmes for a parenting channel and a sports channel for MioTV.
She also headed the trailers and promotions team of Channel NewsAsia and has written, filmed and produced all kinds of trailers and on-air promotions for the channel. As a Programme Development Manager with Channel NewsAsia, Christine was responsible for conceptualizing new programmes for clients like MOM, WDA, ASME, ICPAS, National Kidney Foundation of Singapore and Miele; vetting scripts and trailers; and editing programmes before they went on air. In addition, she produced corporate videos for clients like CapitaLand, SingTel, and NTUC.
She is currently a writer with clients that include Centre for Governance, Institutions and Organisations; NTUC; SingHealth; Science Centre Singapore; OOH Media; OKTO; Channel NewsAsia; CapitaLand; The Ascott Limited; The Shoppes at Marina Bay Shoppes; the ArtScience Museum; and Singapore Tourism Board.
Having spent her entire career writing for various platforms and varied genres, Christine has developed strategies to adapt her writing for different audience. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in English Language from the National University of Singapore.
